Bio
I was born in Fargo, ND during the world's favorite decade: the 80's. The first ten years of my life were primarily popples, pogs and swish suits. In sixth grade I landed the role of Jack in that well known classic, Jack and the Giant. I went on to play some fun roles at Moorhead High School in Minnesota including Charlie in Flowers for Algernon, Jonny in Zombie Prom, Dr. Parker in Batboy, and Monty in Violet. I spent my summers either at Trollwood Performing Arts School or down in my old Kentucky home playing in The Stephen Foster Story. I did a little growing up and earned a BFA in acting from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts under dean Gerald Freedman. At UNCSA I played George in Sunday in the Park With George, Major Ross in Our Country's Good, Solange in The Maids (my favorite), Dopey in Balm in Gilead, and Riff in a production of West Side Story that played both Winston-Salem and the Ravinia Festival. My post-college credits include Fyedka in Fiddler on the Roof (Engeman Theater, dir. BT McNicholl); Mede in The Hidden Sky (Prospect Theater Company); Cliff in Cabaret (Arts Center of Coastal Carolina); The Dream of the Burning Boy and House of Gold (ONeill, dir. Evan Cabnet, dir. Sarah Benson). I'm currently touring the country with the 25th anniversary production of Les Miserables as a swing extraordinaire.I've been spending my days on tour seeking out vegan food, training for my first half-marathon, missing my bike, and reading my ass off. I've just fallen for Franzen. Like the rest of the country.
